EVENTS

We LOVE hosting events so that we can build meaningful connections between South Asian women across the world. From social events, cocktail making sessions, watch parties to talks on women's health, we love hosting and collaborating on all different types of events!

We are looking to host more events in person to help solidify the online relationships we have been forming.

If you own a venue, or are an organisation or business who would like to support a future Pardesi event, please get in touch with us!

Uprooting our stories

Uprooting Our Stories // A workshop in partnership with Gifted, by Nature, Pardesi and Juice Magazine.⠀(12th Aug 2021)

To celebrate South Asian Heritage Month (18th July - 17th August), we are holding an inclusive, virtual safe space to uproot the stories, culture and wisdom that is grounded in our heritage.

Led by Recording Artist, Entrepreneur and Activist Vicky Pasion @thepasion , we are encouraged to slow down and self reflect:

🌿 To deepen an awareness of self in relation to our South Asian identity.
🌿To authentically connect with like minded people.
🌿 To actively set aside time for mindfulness.
🌿 To celebrate our roots, whilst holding space for uncomfortable conversations around our upbringing and personal experiences.

EXPRESSION AND CREATIVITY (15th April 2021)

Pardesi and Juice Magazine @juicedroplet are excited to be hosting our first collaborative event for South Asian female creatives hosted by Mathushaa Sagthidas (@mathuxphotos) - “Expression and Creativity”.

“Expression and Creativity” is an event is designed to empower South Asian creatives who identify as women and give you a space to explore your art form with other like-minded individuals. This event is not limited to those who are pursuing a creative career, but we encourage all South Asian women who enjoy engaging in creativity (in whatever form, at whatever level) to join us on the 15th of April!

For many, lockdown has made being a creative (whether full-time or as a hobbyist) difficult, because of isolation and lack of inspiration. We want to turn this around and offer you the opportunity to connect with other South Asian creatives from across the world. To make our event more interactive, we will be hosting three breakout rooms between which you can freely move to be able to connect with small groups of creatives in more intimate settings.

Whether you enjoy modelling, art, writing, photography, or any art form, we would love for you to join us. Underpinned by Pardesi’s mission to empower and build a community of South Asian women, and Juice’s mission to amplify South Asian creatives, this will be a great way to connect with women from across the world.
